@lauren By all reports, this is literally and exactly what is happening. Both Tesla and SpaceX have teams whose whole job description is to isolate Musk from the people doing the actual work and act as a buffer from him fucking things up.

It's why I like the settlement building in Fallout 4. Even if I'm feeling lazy and just slap basic needs together, I get to MAKE THE WORLD BETTER for that handful of people who show up. They have a place to live and food to eat because I put in the effort to plant tatos and razorgrain and build beds inside a house and set up some turrets to keep them safe. And that feels good even if those people didn't exist until I built the settlement and the game spawned them in.

But to prevent impersonations, the new blue verified removes the checkmark if you change your display name.Which dril did.And it came back immediately. Which only happens via manual review.So dril changed his name again.And the checkmark came back.This has been going on back and forth for an hour, while dril relentlessly mocks Musk and Twitter Blue.Elon Musk is in a pissing contest with a meme account on his own website.AND LOSING.
