@kura Wow that look really polished. I used to configure Emulation Station myself but that can honestly be a pain in the ass. Does switch emulation actually work at full speed with yuzu?

The biggest #Fediverse trauma I ever had must be loosing my account with all my followers 2 years ago.My admin spontaneously shut down the instance (a pretty shitty move IMO) and even after offering to host it myself just to move my account, things didn't work out between us. Thankfully, I was able to recover a list of people I followed, but it took me some time to get back into things afterward.Moral of the story?Choose your instance wisely and make sure you have a good admin.

@deavmi do people like you believe transitioning is as easy as making a dentists appointment? To be able to undergo surgery or even receive less drastic gender affirming care you will need to go through multiple psychological exams and medical professionals will make a decision based on what's best for the patient.

I just rediscovered #BumpTop, an alternative 3D desktop for Windows 7 that had a major focus on Touch gestures and was eventually bought out by Google.I remember using it on my first Windows 7 machine even though my laptop could barely handle it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fko4N-EmzgM&t=837sIt's #OpenSource now, but I'm still waiting for a Linux port. :blobcatupsidedown2:

@BrodieOnLinux Foss software relies on donations and I feel it’s fair to ask for them here and there. People put hundreds of hours into code, anyone can grab and use for free. They deserve financial support.

I highly doubt that ChatGPT is not used by other representatives. I personally think that one of the biggest problems is that this tech lies (mostly) in the hands of big corporations which makes any endeavors to use AI ethically in politics reliant on them. Weve seen how Facebook used its power to influence politics. I don't want the risk for AI.

@cody German doesn't have an equivalent, I try to stick to peoples name or ask them which pronouns they prefer. Sometimes I just mix in English but that doesn't work everywhere.
