This morning I’m back to something I enjoy and need to do: Write.I’ve been through the wringer since Thursday morning but one thing I still have is @TimeMachiner and my subscribers who enjoy my work. I can’t let them down and I should not let myself down by letting things slip.So today I forge on and work to get another issue out on time and with more stuff people will hopefully like. @jeff They literally led with the Mac. The Mac is nothing without macOS. I agree Ventura has some rough edges, but it’s still far and away better than Windows. If macOS legit gets crappy, people will switch away.I can’t see how they don’t “give a shit” about it when the Intel —> M1 transition has shown dedication. These machines are insanely good.

**THIS** is why the #redditblackout must remain in place for longer than 48-hours. Huffman knows it’ll “blow over” after today because it has a planned end time. I’m glad many subs decided to blackout indefinitely. If mods stay strong, it “won’t pass” because Reddit will be forced to boot all mods and replace them with their own paid mods, which they absolutely don’t have the manpower to do.

Old internet:Amazon is a one stop place to get quality stuff. Twitter is conversations with people and the best place to get breaking news. Google gets me exactly what I’m looking for. Reddit has the answer to an obscure issue I’m running into. Facebook is an easy way to keep up with friends. Todays internet:Amazon is gamed by sellers hawking sub par crap. It just wants my data. Twitter is all right wing nuts. It just wants my data. Google links to SEO crap. It just wants my data. Reddit admits I’m a “data set”. It just wants my data. Facebook is where misinformation goes to flourish. It just wants my data.
