@timr @SusanInVA Tim and Susan, I am from Ohio, and I can tell you that Portman has not been in a favorable light for the past 6 years with local voters. Ohio can do better--I like Jordan, we will see. Ohio GOP still trying to figure out if they back DeWine as Governor next round. I hope not.

@timr @SusanInVA NP Tim. Ohio is important though, Ohio legislature is Republican dominated, but there are problems in the leadership--corruption. Jim Jordan should be able to secure the money to move into Senate, but there are corruption battles galore right here in Ohio. Very similar situations to the Coastal elites, and strategy is needed to keep the House, Senate, Governorship, and state legislature in the red. DeWine is a RINO at best--I will keep all updated as much as possible.

@Debradelai @LisaB Well, SMB, I am a scholar who uses Google Scholar all day long, thus, one minute or less. But, everyone can use Google Scholar, and more people should take a few minutes each day to find peer-reviewed data to support or refute the so-called data, quotes, history, etc., coming at us each day. It would help us all. But I am a trained professional, some will not or cannot try these things at home! LOL!

@timr @Teneseo @Bluifox Tim, while I find your threads outstanding and pragmatic, I ask you to keep in mind there are valid "feelings" on our conservative side that will need to be addressed in our strategy going forward. EVERYONE buys/sells/changes/moves due to feelings. We will not win them all back because of "feelings", but we will have to consider such healing in our own campaign to keep the heart of conservatism and regaining ground. Keep bringing the info and the threads. Thank you.

@timr I once again agree with you on many points. Keep in mind my emphasis is on an overarching strategy going forward. Yes, there will always be the defeatists, the naysayers, hand-wringers, etc. Emotions are running high on all sides. However, cooler heads will prevail & we can gain some voters "back" by focusing on their anger and apathy to continue gaining ground. Pragmatism wins, but so does using these emotions to drive true change. The guy baited you inappropriately, IMHO. All's well.
