@freemo The reaction threshold for woman->man violence is higher. She does hit like a girl, after all. Some passers-by checked out the actual damage the guy received, which was basically none. Of course, this is still discrimination but I feel it needed to be said.

@a7 @p @fluffy Information silos have a tendency to get compromised. Even though I know it's public information, transforming/processing information is a separate step that can be critiqued irrelevant of the original material's status. I.e. data aggregation is an extra step and motive becomes a talking point. For example, the original publication of posts was not done with the intention of having them aggregated and used in some possibly nefarious way.Then again, when you post it, you've lost it.

@hj @anti This reminds me of a funny story. A friend has a web design agency, also does hosting and sells voIP phones. The tax authorities decide to surprise-subpoena everything in the place so they can check for illegal imports of equipment from China or something. So, expert guy wants to get all business email. They discover thunderbird with imap account connected to a 9GB gmail mailbox. "What the hell is this, where's outlook? I need to download all email NOW". It went downhill from there. Another reason not to like outlook.
