the thing only has value because people buy into it.the experiment was how far will value go when people create an unbreakable chain of their transactions, digitally? turns out people liked it.it was a pilot study for aspects of the CBDC. open field trial. open source is not immune to stupidity, just look at the linux foundation funding the c19 digital health certificate thing, for an example.

OKAY ! #music !!! I went into my rabbit hole and tried making some mixes of memorable songs from 1990-2000. The results are interesting, and probably a lot of fun.The 90's - Volume I (with a few bonus tracks before and after the stated time period.)I was originally aiming for 3 songs from each year, for a 3 volume set of the 90's - One song per year, per volume.... Then I got a little excited revisiting old tracks. So I may edge this out to 6 per, making a six volume playlist of 10 tracks across six volumes, if you were to figure it the old way and go for 78 minutes per CD... What I mean by this is literally dark mode is harder to use than not using it.My theory is this: darkmode - diffrenciating differences between things, letters, etc - instead of seeing the letters on the white screen, you have to hunt through a sea of black to find them, and every time you do, your eyes are surrounded by black, which makes it harder for the eyes to adjust to actual read the white.what happens to me anyway, is I'm overwhelmed visually, feel like i'm getting very angry (and i'm extremely calm, even keeled and peaceful,) and then I find the switch to normal colors and can use the thing again.

as far as additional controls go in the experiment:I don't use CFL/Neon/LED lights in my dwelling, only incandescent full spectrum bulbs.LED's are actually brutal on eyesight. https://www.dailymessenger.is/videos/LED%20-%20one%20more%20way%20to%20kill%20us%20%5BmgWV83gjiuWW%5D.mp4So I have one or two lamps on, even though it's evening time. Uncertain if that makes any difference, just yet.
