Utter bullshit. Voluntary admission shows clear executive function and should not be a criteria for excluding someone's 2A rights, and other states with less stupid gun laws overall agree. It's the #1 reason why CCW reciprocity does not line up with Illinois and would enable 10 more states to align if they dropped that stupid requirement. Involuntary? Fine. Agreed. Voluntary? Talk about punishing people just trying to find help. I bet there are people who won't go specifically because they'd lose their guns (especially in this climate, disarming is suicide), harming mental health services in the state.

@luna Well, nothing specific except maybe that whole white house character assassination thing being the straw that broke the camel's back.I regularly review the risk of running a service like this and the risk has objectively breached what I am comfortable with and it requires multiple high effort, high cost steps to bring back down to something reasonable, and that can't be done on a reasonable timeline while the service is up and continuing to expose me to said risks.However much I don't like it, I am a pre-requisite to Pomf's existence, and if something happens to me, no Pomf.
