question regarding api design, directed at anyone who's ever worked with low level programming languages:assuming that there was a function which claimed by its signature to take an 8 bit integer when in reality it cut off the last bit and a corresponding function which could later be used to retrieve said integer (which would now, unbeknownst to the caller, be missing the last bit), do you think that the API should make this clear by instead taking/returning a seven bit custom wrapper type

@yura idk what your hobbies are but i usually spend all of my free time (and vacations) coding, doing sports , running, riding my bike and playing basketballdon't know how much of that is possible for you in your current circumstances but i'd consider all of these to be perfectly good uses of time and even better than going to school
