@MoeMortem very cute illustration, I see you're leaving up what might happen later that night, to our imagination again.

@InvincibleSugar Charlie Kirk as an influential political figure political figure is partially too blame for the hunger and death of countless children, by the virtue of the policies he advocated for.He was not an innocent intellectual, but a paid propagandist for billionaires and war criminals.Charlie Kirk was someone making this world a worse place. That's certainly enough to me to celebrate his passing.

@InvincibleSugar Charlie Kirk has placed a crucial role on manufacturing consent for the Gaza genocide. He was against universal school lunches for children, despite 1 in 5 children in the USA not having enough to eat, and school lunch debt being a huge problem. Defended bills which cut children's healthcare, school lunch, education and other welfare programs crucial for helping children. He has propagandised these inhumane things, because he receives tens of millions from billionaires.

@punishedmob your influence as an ordinary person is so marginal, so that it is not worth stressing about. The problem is systems not individuals anyways, they will just find and fund another Charlie Kirk, very soon as well.Though I'd beg you to find evidence that it is helpful for children to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, instead of getting fed, clothed, educated, and kept healthy by the state.

@punishedmob also sorry, I had typed up two more drafts, but I just do not care to learn your political beliefs. The internet should be used for enjoyable things and information exchange.Political action and debates need to take place offline, where they might have an impact. I easily fall into the trap of starting arguments, but it's really not a good use of time and energy. It's awful that social media today is just 90% people having arguments.

@punishedmob alright then, since I saw you're an ancap, I am curious what solution you have imagine to child poverty, that isn't purely relying on charity, creating a market auctioning children to the highest bidder for adoption like Rothbard suggested, or allowing children to work, which is what I meant with pulling themselves up by the bootstraps.

@punishedmob so essentially, poor people should hope for the donations of rich people, and they will somehow pull themselves up by their bootstraps by embracing tradition. You want people to have more children again as a replacement for social security, and force poor people back into multi generational households, because there would be no state to provide child care and education, only private sector. So my assumptions were right, only that you are more culturally right wing than I thought.
