Had a kerfluffel with EOTK and it kept saying my onion addy was invalid so had to make an new onion address for my blog. The new site is : wcys7f3gkv544vliqayaf7y7jy2ocp4idvngcjjlm4wsbnemk6qag5ad.onionalso updated the site link on my blog. If anyone was accessing my blog via Tor apologies. I2P link remains the same.

Lmao "my little issue" is still a problem thats keeping people from using it. Im just trying to sus out if im the only one, or if its a wider issue. When Updating to 1.1 I had to nuke my whole db and basicly restart. It was locked in a massive read/write operation that was killing my server.

So according to @0461fcbe And my own brief reading of their protocol, hosting your own instance, isn't like hosting a mastodon instance like I had kind of assumed. It is not a totally independent but federated server. It gives you more control over your data, but everything is generally synced back to their primary giga server.

Another thing I'll genuinely never understand is people's attachment to race and nationality and being so prideful About it.
