@itnewsbot Repatriating manufacturing is a good step, whether forced by circumstance or not. This creates high end jobs in the US, and could reduce the environmental damage caused when shipping chips and materials across the world.We need to repatriate the waste too. It's not enough to export tech waste and label the shipments as 'recycled'. It might tick a box or two but we should #recycle at home, or preferably #reuse or #repurpose

@EU_Commission Great to make an investment in a beautiful old building and put it to use in a sustainable way. Here in Stoke, we demolish good buildings and build car parks out of steel and concrete, intended for cars we shouldn't be using. Meanwhile our roads have potholes large enough to accommodate communities of fish. The current 'fix' is to outline the holes with white spray paint. It might help the anglers, but not us cyclists!
