@thor @resynth1943 its the same as cheap disposable vs. expensive and durable. people prefer the former even though the latter is possible and superior because of cost.

@matilde that's not the change I made. FSE has been filtered from TWKN for a long time because their hellthreads dominate the TL and make it hard to see what else is going on.

@matilde I also don't want xenophobic bullshit on our public pages. you're welcome to interact with FSE, but they have to earn that interaction if they want to be linked to on any public page on sunshine gardens. remember that TWKN removal is just that, it don't affect anything else.

@solderpunk i saw some plans to set one up. pleroma actually has one built in. basically is a way for an instance to subscribe to all of the notices from another instance.

actually I think I want to say this:would any sunshine garden's member or other #walkaway person like to take administrative and financial responsibility for social? this means operating and updating two lxd containers connected to yggdrasil. object storage and TLS are handled by our grid.I require additional time and bandwidth for other projects. I don't want to sunset social necessarily, but I don't want to be responsible for operating it anymore.
