Of course, it is happening. One can purchase countless products and services using BTC worldwide. In places that won't accept BTC directly, you can easily pay with whatever else you want that you got by *exchanging* your BTC for beforehand. You can literally put me in any place in the world that has internet access and I can exchange my BTC for anything I could possibly ever need.

You literally can exchange them for whatever the fuck you want. Be it products, services or fiat currencies. If you can't exchange them directly for your daily dose of soy milk at your local supermarket, that does not mean that BTC is not medium of exchange. Guess what, you can't use EUROs in USA shops either, that does not mean that EUROs are not MOE.

@74dcec31fd3b8cfd960bc5a35ecbeeb8b9cee8eb81f6e8da4c8067553709248d food for thought. I like chronological feed and it has to stay, but when you follow a lot of people you completely miss out on posts made while you were away for half a day. Even without zaps would be cool to set a priority list for the accounts that you don't want to miss a single note from.

I'm sure this issue will be fixed in NOSTR clients in no time. Joining a federated network like fediverse where the server owns your identity does not seem like something I really want to do.
