@pry it’s very close to my heart personally, it was the breakthrough book for me about what programming was, and how it should be done.https://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/LispBook/you can inspect a full free PDF of the book here, and i love them for the fact they didn’t lock this book down, like so many others.i think it’s better than SICP because it’s far friendlier and more playful. SICP was a very imposing book for me, and i found it a slog to finish.by the end of gentle introduction i was writing ELIZA clones and immediately looking at code from the 80s and 90s and it was making sense.
