Read some plan9 docs yesterday (about the whole system philosophy). Really inspiring on how we could dynamically assemble various computers/machines into an unified system. But it seems a quite esoteric / niche system. Candid question: What is missing for the « average citizen » to benefit from this (harness the capabilities of all its devices, wether it’s small cards, big computer, phones/tablet, etc.)A better plan9 distribution, or plan9 protocol implementations in popular OSes (or both) ?
