god, i love SA usually, but on occasion it really fucking upsets me, like not that SA isn't great and all, but sometimes when i'm pushing it too much and i end up really wanted, and i go to do some shit, it places me surrounded by cops and i don't have a fucking chance to get what i need to get done done! and yet it resets when i leave the mission so what the fuck why not when i start it? so then I end up going back to playing with 4/5 again. anyways can't wait for gta 6!!!

I have played finished GTA SA hundreds of times and I probably have thousands of hours playtime racked up in my lifetime on this game so I also know the speedrun strategies and how to break mission scripts and such. I have completed every mission including the optional ones in two streams (12 hours total playtime).I think I will make some highlight videos at some point, but I guess don't watch those if you haven't beaten the main story yet.The later GTA games like 4 and 5 definitely hold your hand a lot more. But even then the cops in GTA SA are ridiculously easy to deal with when compared to GTA 3 or Vice City. In those games the cops are actually relentless.

@hj@shigusegubu.club @ube@tsundere.love The keyboard controls in the 3D GTA era literally emulate a PS2 controller in the engine, that's why multiple actions are bound to the same key.Also it's pretty easy to do flying without a numpad, I just remind those keys to IJKL and such.As for the shooting, on console the GTA games just have lock-on aiming.

@Phobos @SuperDicq @ube i literally played 3,VC and SA on PC without ever knowing that console versions existed at all and saw nothing wrong with the "ports"in fact I modded the shit out of VC and SA, replacing cars with Ladas and toilets-on-the-wheel. One of the best mods is the one that replaced Faggio (vespa-like scooter) with a shopping cart.

Doom had 35FPS lock and I didn't complain.I don't think I ever saw a 60fps patch but I do remember playing with revc and seeing some particle effects (fountain) freaking out if I unlock FPS tho.But yeah, it's all clear to me now.

We had two versions of the game back in my childhood - one that had full translation but only the first district, and one that had partial translation and all districts, I don't remember which one I had. There were also a thing that one version didn't have multiplayer.It's been probably more than 25 years.

SA police does none of that.Also you can literally abuse the horn button in SA and you can never get busted.
