I don’t know what it is about my local Total Wino, but they always have a weak rum selection They do great on every other spirit, but it seems like they never have the exact rum I’m looking for Thanks for the recap, always informative and entertaining

You are not alone. There is one closeby, and while they have a few wines worth getting, they rarely have any of the good German beers my husband likes. Fortunately there is also a small independent drink store that ended up becoming our go-to, because if the owner doesn't have what you want in stock, he'll gladly get it for you.

Nice, it's always best to support local businesses.

My main reason for going to Total Wine was to grab a bottle of Green Chartreuse that they were showing in stock last night online. I got the last bottle this afternoon. Green Chartreuse has been hard to come by these days.

I think the last time I went to the local Total Wine was a month and a half back. We hardly drink anymore- the hubby has been nursing along a 24-pack of Weihenstephaner Festbier over the last month...and I am almost 6 weeks pregnant!

If you like beer, try these. Baltika is like Delirium Tremens.

Thanks! Im not really a beer drinker. I usually only dabble when Im somewhere with cold good draft on tap. One of my favorite beers was Windhoek which was produced in Namibia by German settlers.

And thanks for the recommendations. I stopped in the bear aisle for a minute, but Im not a beer connoisseur and my eyes glazed over at all the choices so I just kept moving.
