@foone My unsolicited advice is to scream bad words really loudly, insult the robot directly while demanding to speak to "a human instead of a stupid fucking slop machine", & sound extremely mad. Calling it things like "tinhead", "slopomatic 3000", & "chromedome" seems to help slightly too. I usually get put on a ten minute hold before an employee answers, then I talk to them politely, then I complain about the robot for as much time as I'm given on the service survey after.I think this strategy saves me about an hour in customer service hell.

@foone Never experienced that. That being said, I'm going to claim that mandatory "chat customer service" with a robot that types with two fingers is even worse.I have no idea why we think the customer service is more "humane" when it writes slower is a thing. At least give me an alternative to use a FAQ, because that's what you end up copypasting from anycase. I'll just use the browser's search function.
