       Sometimes I feel like I'm working with idiots.16.05.2026 I sent an email to one of our "customers" that for an activation of one of their accounts, we need a profile, photo, a direct link where they can upload one (and not only a hyperlink from something like "CLICK HERE" but a full address, hyperlinked) and a simple requirement for that photo.Today, my boss is asking why their profile is not active. I told him what's missing and that I proactively (we - a helpdesk - don't have to do that) sent them email on this and that date. Well, the answer is - they were waiting for something else to be approved - which, OK, I understand when you don't know, you'll wait for an hour or two, or even a day. But after a day, having an email that specifically says "hey, the only thing you're missing is the profile photo" - and you're still not even trying to do what the email says? Or - you can also respond to that email and ask why the other thing is not approved or what to do in this case. No - waiting for more than 2 weeks is the right thing to do.

       My boss is actually at the customer right now, he said "it has been clarified", yet there is still no profile photo 🙂
