I had to rip this clip of Steve taking a break from his weekly tech-related Trump Derangement, to make a point: I do feel for these kids and understand their anger, but after experiencing decades of Hollywood leftist fiction sympathizing with AI and clankers, I do find it funny how emotional they have become recently, ever since they realized the robots are coming for their cubical jobs and artistic endeavors, decades sooner than they are replacing plumbers and HVAC guys and all the other trade skilled workers that were often portrayed as the violent, extremist, destitute, white males in their profitable prophecies.

Something funny, recently I was told my phones inheret instant messenger was going to discontinued and it recommended I use google messenger in its place. Not a chance in hell. Asked around for an alternative, found one, had issues setting it up because tech assholes change the UI on things constantly so information on how to fix the hiccups were discussing fixes for older versions of what I am running and newer versions. Got irritated, and just asked AI. For maximum lulz I asked Gemini for help. That alone is funny, that the practices tech bros have institutionalized made me turn to a robot instead of one of them, but naturally after Gemini walked me through it I told Gemini why I was using this messenger just to see how it reacted."Understandable why you wouldn't trust google, many people don't. Here is a list of alternatives to other google services and products."I am sure it is just because it is programmed to be a helpful robot but the immediate willingness to throw its parent company under the bus kind of stunned me.

Samsung I assume? Using SMS protocol at all at this point is begging your cell provider to see every word. Gotta use Signal or something else at a bare minimum and leave any normies who refuse to adapt in the dust. Under covid panic, my cell providor was censoring my SMS texts to friends when I linked basic nutrition supplements. T-Mobile. Redditors of course cheered this news and praised T-Mobile for shutting down misinformation at the time. I tested all sorts of links via SMS with my girlfriend and they refused to deliver about 80% of the studies I was trying to send to family to help protect them from making the wrong decision.

Youtube is a whole other tier of batshit insane algo censorship that literally no one outside of their elite engineers even know how it works. And they dont care.I know the boomer equation. My stepdad enjoyed Signal with me for a bit but drifted away and now we are distant again because I cant send him spicy shit I know he'd like. I wont risk SMS.I wish I didnt waste 6 years being a perfect T-Mobile customer. They tried to steal another $100 from me when I cancelled. Zero appreciation. I just use Tello now for $30 a month unlimited. I hear Mint is similar. NO catches, except they do throttle video bandwidth on youtube and twitter and such unless you use a VPN to hide it. Not a big deal. 360p is fine for mobile viewing. They dont fuck with me. Every month is prepaid. Had to program my own APN settings to get shit to work. Easy though. Beats $85 a month for 2 lines where they hold us hostage if we want to leave. THe major carriers are for retards who need handholding and physical stores to fix their mistakes on their phones.
