Ah yes, a soldier on a week-long mission can just... bring a 3D printer with him. Can't help but notice it's supposed to be brought "near the battlefield". Which means it isn't battle hardened. When soldiers need to eat, they have to leave the battlefield? 🤨 The bad guys' surveillance drones are never going to spot good guys making routine treks to a food dispenser. And when one of these printers fails (and they will) are soldiers supposed to request a warranty replacement? Change out a stepper motor?Might as well set up a mess hall, or rely on DoorDash.

If troops have been "extracted" in one of this idiot's examples they're almost 100% in a rear area and have access to proper food rather than this nutrient paste shit. And they still have to transport the 3d printer. I just built a 350x350mm machine and it's heavy as shit.If they're going on a patrol they aren't carrying a 3d printer with them. If they need to bring food it's gonna be in sealed MRE pouches because it doesn't matter how good your 3d printed meal paste is, if it isn't sealed its gonna stink after a few hours and nobody wants to eat 8 hour old nutrient paste.
