       Every time I see someone trying to justify slop contributions to an open source codebase, I wonder: _who’s paying the bill?_From what I’ve heard on here, LLM coding is going to get an order of magnitude more expensiveOn the one hand I see rich boys using LLM as pay-to-win (like Elmo and actual video games) and getting their feelings hurt that they can’t buy respectOn the other hand, LLM generated code is unmaintainable, so shoving it into projects is creating a monthly-billed barrier of entry.
