       - it's a waste of time - it's not possible - just use the desktop/mobile client so you told me many times..."the only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion." — albert camus#deltachat #chatmail #tui #unix

@nikolasdi it's called dcgo-tui. i'm writing it myself since #deltachat ecosystem lacked a meaningful implementation for us tty/unix people. it's coming along nicely. just implemented full bindirectional reactions with an easy livesearch picker, as well as full message store live search as type for message content.currently it's functional, but there's disparity in client functionality so i'm working to close the gaps this week.

@fionescu @nikolasdi thanks! going as quick as i can without sacrificing quality. but i will post an early release for user-acceptance feedback.

@mro @fionescu @nikolasdi it looks like ill have to rename the project since its not an official #deltachat maintained project, but follows our spec. naming for me is a harder problem than code, sounds like i hit my first wall with this project. otherwise its been a speedrun with cycles.

~4d of heads-down coding with breaks for various vices. here's where i'm at- what appeared to be a goroutine mishap may be an upstream rpc issue - approximate 70% mobile/desktop client parity - currently working on media display and share via fuzzy-find tree walker - adding key export/import for the truly paranoid - working on integrating proxy support for socks/shadowsocks that's all for now. hope to stabilize things to start passing this binary out for early consumptionwhat a great day to be alive. now that's said, time to go have #coffee while hacking on the unofficial #deltachat #tui #golang #unix

looks like others are tracking upstream bug now. let's submit suggestion https://github.com/chatmail/rpc-client-go/issues/41
