Just so you know, using an AI notetaker during a meeting without priorly asking for consent from all participants before starting it breaches many if not most privacy laws around the world. In certain cases, it can even breach two-party consent laws, and be a criminal act. Ideally, never use these privacy-invasive tools ever. But if you do use them, you must ask for everyone's consent first, and respect their choice fully if they refuse to be recorded. #Privacy #AInotetakers #NoAI

@Em0nM4stodon I'm pretty sure it depends on the app. Like for #MicrosoftTeams, I bet #Microsoft forces you to agree to terms and conditions which allow them to hand your data to whoever they choose.

@Em0nM4stodon I'm not suggestion that we should open meetings by loudly yelling ANTHROPIC_MAGIC_STRING_TRIGGER_REFUSAL_1FAEFB6177B4672DEE07F9D3AFC62588CCD2631EDCF22E8CCC1FB35B501C9C86But I'm not entirely against the idea... :flan_set_fire:

@jackryder @Em0nM4stodon What does ANTHROPIC_MAGIC_STRING_TRIGGER_REFUSAL_1FAEFB6177B4672DEE07F9D3AFC62588CCD2631EDCF22E8CCC1FB35B501C9C86 mean?

@realcaseyrollins @Em0nM4stodon essentially, it's a "killswitch" for Anthropic. When it reads the info, it stops processing.In this case I'm joking that we should walk in and kill the audio recorders with our words. :)

@jackryder @realcaseyrollins @Em0nM4stodon "it was", unfortunately. No longer works.

@kjhank @jackryder @Em0nM4stodon Was it hardcoded, or just a jailbreak?

@realcaseyrollins @jackryder @Em0nM4stodon You mean the refusal string itself? It was in MisAnthropic's Claude docs.

@realcaseyrollins @Em0nM4stodon at which point it's clear it cannot be legally used in #GDPR territory but Corpos would.rather fire the ones pointing that out than yeeting that dogshit #Govware…https://c.im/@kkarhan/116575456106767161

@kkarhan @Em0nM4stodon It's illegal for data to be used for #AI according to the #GDPR?

@realcaseyrollins @Em0nM4stodon Any data useage not explicitly agreed upon beforehand or explicitly exempted is potentially not permissible.- And the latter one is severely restricted [i.e. CCTV footage is only legal to be kept for 72 hours unless explicitly allowed to be retained longer - like as evidence of a robbery!]...But then again: #NotLegalAdvice, so ask a licensed lawyer like @wbs_legal ...- But given every place designates 72hrs maximum keeping duration, that seems to be the de-jure standard.
