@futurebird Police do have to run red lights and speed some times in the course of duty. I think it is safe to say this guy is way beyond that but without the article saying what a "normal" officer does its hard to tell. Also unless I misread it he also racked up tickets in his personal truck. There is no excuse for that if true.

@futurebird how many DUIs has he gotten away with? He drives a ram truck. Data tells us drivers of that model of truck gets issued the most DUIs.

@futurebird If I were M. I would want to know what the standard course of action is, and what options there are. I wouldn't want to come right out and promise X and find out there are more severe penalties available.
