@Iffine I got a modded series x controller per your recommendation and I've been having a good time with it. The pad is great, and the bumpers are way better than the xbone controller.Have some 2hu gameplay as a thank you

@hickory :shiro_thumb: Nice. Definitely a great choice, it's crazy how good of a controller the Series has. Liked it enough that I was actually using it as my Switch controller too for a while, played a lot of Splatoon with it. Also man, Udongein X is a game, though one I haven't touched. Played the demo for the second though and that was pretty enjoyable.

@Iffine I usually play simple platformers with my snes controller, but this one was nice enough for me to try it out. The only thing I don't like about it is the actuation force and travel distance of the face buttons. I can button mash quite a bit faster on the snes controller, but I suppose that's fairly situational.And yeah, udongein x is a good little game. Of course, I am very biased since I will probably enjoy anything megaman x inspired

@hickory >The only thing I don't like about it is the actuation force and travel distance of the face buttonsI can see that, though I don't really mind it since the controller is very much designed to be general use for all types of games. Though if you wanted to mod the controller further than it already is, seems like clicky buttons are far less of a pain than something like stick replacement. Still a bit of work but nowhere near as much effort as soldering. :thinkinghrr:

@SuperSnekFriend @hickory Xbox Series X controller is extremely good but depending on what happens during manufacture, there's a chance of getting one that will get stick drift. Suggested buying one with pre-installed TMR sticks to basically cancel out any chance of drift. Practically same cost.

@Iffine @hickory I'm looking and I don't see a specific controller for the Xbox 4. I just see Xbox controllers that can work with Xbox 3-4. :kanna_inspect:

@SuperSnekFriend @hickory An explaination for that, basically Microsoft phased out the XbOne design when the Series came out with a redesigned controller. Basically, if it's a bigger controller with the soap dish d-pad, it's a good one. XbOne controllers are still compatible with the series, but they suck and feel bad, and they've got that weird mushy d-pad that looks and feels way too smooth.

@SuperSnekFriend @Iffine microsoft is retarded and doesn't like to differentiate things. Left is an xbox one controller, right is a series x controller. They work with both consoles afaik, but the one that came with the series x is much better

@Iffine @hickory I thought the XBO controller d-pads were a significant upgrade to the X360 controller d-pads.

@SuperSnekFriend @hickory I guess? Frankly I wasn't a big fan of either. They're both far too squishy in a bad way. Felt like I could press the whole thing down at once if I wanted to, even if I couldn't. Meanwhile the Series d-pad is very clicky and instant, the design is unconventional but it works very well and is especially good with diagonal inputs and quickly moving across.
