Ugh. Trying to do simultaneous USB-C docks/kvms with a windows pc and a Mac is a bit of a mess. There's so many products that almost do this, or do it but badly!

I don't want to have to have two docks and a KVM but that might be the least headachey option, other than all the cable management it implies

@foone This one's been ok for me. I run a Windows box on one side, and Macbook M1 on the other. Let's me run 2 DP monitors and an HDMI. I suppose I could find another DP monitor instead of the tiny HDMI I use, but where the hell would I put it?https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Displays-DisplayPort-Compatible-Thunderbolt/dp/B09NQQ1G1N(not an associate link)

@foone I simplified my KVM setup to just using a simple keyboard & mouse switcher, the USB hubs in my monitors, and the input switcher in my monitors. Having to switch KM and video separately is an advantage for my setup. Type c from the monitors to my Mac handle the data & video, and DP for my PC, although I could swap it to use the hub on one monitor if required. Guessing you have “eccentric” requirements which may not benefit from this setup, though.

@foone I was recently trying to solve this exact problem and I'm glad I gave up and tried Parsec instead, which has been mostly good. Stillllll ended up needing a dock for the mac because Parsec on OSX doesn't provide virtual mic/webcams. But luckily I mostly just need them on the OSX side.
