       @NoDoxGregBrady @BrazilianContrarian The new one is closer to the book than the original Richard Chamberlain version, except for a few bits. The original one followed Blackthorne mostly and left a lot of the politcs going on behind the scenes out, but the new one has all of it and you get to see Toranaga's planning.It's very good honestly, they didn't change much from the book, though they did change my favourite part (Blackthorne's initial 'interview' by Toranaga), and Blackthorne was bit meek compared to the book as well.

       @CrazedWeevil @NoDoxGregBrady @BrazilianContrarian Enjoyed it quite a bit. Long time since I saw the original. Entertaining, keeps you hooked and very good characters. Worth it for me.
