       @maddy the  mantainer of  the  minecraft server  docker image  (unofficial, community software)  got mad  at me  because i  submitted an issue after he  introduced  a bug  that made it  impossible  to login with alternative auth systems  while keeping online mode  active .  i was .  baffled“it sounds like yoire trying to play without paying for the game”  duh? dipshit

       @fiore @maddy they made one of the best versions in 2012 and in my opinion did not release a better version until like 1.16 or 1.18 and since then improvements have been so gradual i can actually name the 3 features i cared about (trial chambers are compelling and mob variants just give a nice bit of flavour)
