       and there you go my university announced the two things that's going to be more of a pain in the ass or generate false positives than actually helping: remote surveilance during exams and the use of those tools that checks for AI

       well, of course you'd rather want to deal with false positives or negatives than seeing every of your students use AI to think for themselves, I guess

       @yuki What were they doing before? With us our exams require digital invigilation, which uses a browser extension that records you via webcam and screen records at the same time, as well as "monitors for AI tools", whatever that means. We don't really get a false positives, issue is more about uploading an 1-3 hours of footage at the end, sometimes something can go wrong then (but they're pretty understanding and you get plenty of time for the extension to finish doing its thing)
