@ErictheCerise Sure, it is a different tool! apropos searches for matching man pages and gives you summaries right from these pages' titles. And in most systems it comes together with man in the same package — so there is often no need for a separate tool, that was the point of the pun 😁@astrid

@m0xee @ErictheCerise @astrid BTW, "apropos" is still working away on Linux. It's always tickled me that Linuxians shorten 4 character words like "copy" and "move" to 2, but revel in obscure longer terms like "apropos".
