       As i kid i used to like fireworks but since i had dogs i hate every bit of it.The neighbors kids are at it and Bona is shitting her pants and is shaking like crazy.Poor Dog 🤬

       @wyliesau Take her in a room as far as possible, get yourself some ear protection, then play some music very loud. It may work for yor dog as well as it does for my two nervous puppies.

       @michaaa62 Far away doesn’t work, even this afternoon you could hear bangs far away from homes in the woods and ear protectors don’t work on her, the only thing which kind of works are some CBD drops.She’s a poor old lady over Silvester, always has been 🥺

       @wyliesau The ear protection is for you not the dog, 'far away' is misleading, but from my experience even 5 or 10 meters in a flat make a difference. Dogs do not mind the loudness of the 'bang', but the sudden bang. Loud music does not have these sudden changes in loudness.

       @wyliesau @michaaa62 huhI know a dog who accustomed herself to the blasts and booms. Now she attends fireworks at 1st Aug and 31st Dec. I dont know if she is just enduring it or does not care anymore but she was just laying on the floor and looking around from time to time. I guess it depends on breed and where they live.
