       Got caught in bike traffic last night. It dawns on me that there are going to be new evolving social norms around bike traffic. Even ran in to some bike road rage, which like... if we could just *not* that would be great.

       I know none of you on here would do this, but if folks on bikes could not yell at folks walking, that would be great. We need bike/ped solidarity not antagonism.

       @scottsthoughts 100% agreedI am a mostly-bike-only navigator of NYC, 12 months of the yearI really hate seeing the cyclists who are super disrespectful of pedestrian’s space; the ones who actively yell are even more obnoxious Even considered merely on a strategic level, we ought to want pedestrians to regard bikes as highly preferable to cars — yelling and dangerously zooming closely on a bike gives everyone a story to tell about a horrid cyclist
