       So, Facebook now forbids its users in Canada from posting links to news sources. But they're lying about why. They say because the Canadian government forbids links to news sources.That's not true. The Canadian government just wants Facebook, which is acting as a news publisher, to pay its dues for acting like one. Y'know, Facebook, the giant monopolistic company that makes millions of dollars in revenue every year. They should pay.Instead Facebook is just trying to piss off its user base by saying the Canadian government is forbidding what they want to do.

       @JordiGH It could be really dangerous, if people don't get news from serious sources anymore.Nowadays many people are already so distracted by fakenews, they can't even recognize whats true or false.Imagine those people will only consume fakenews, because alternatives are gone. How will the society will look like in a few years in Canada?
