@coolboymew Actually the whole humiliation conga that Sony has been going thru over the past decade has been immensely satisfying to watch from the outside looking in. Not even Microsoft making grave once in a century mistakes was enough to save them from their own mediocrity!

@coolboymew I mean that's a precedent the govt. doesn't want to set in a legal sense. He can talk a good game that but to enforce it will need a court order, and I doubt very much any such hearing will never take place. Cause the same logic could then be applied and enforced to pretty much every large mega corp.

@netdoll @zemichi @coolboymew Bloodborne *remake*?Is there demand for that?Why would they remake a game that's not even ten years old, still looks/plays fine, is easy to obtain, and runs natively on current gen hardware?I mean, I know the real answer is "Money," but what would be the point, why not commission Fromsoft to make a sequel or a new PS exclusive game or something?

@netdoll @zemichi @coolboymew I mean, fair; I would support a PC port because I'm against the idea of exclusives on principle. A ReMaster, sure, I could see fans people coughing up for that, but I think the idea of a remake that's still locked up in Playstation hardware jail would be a fools errand (same reason I don't care about the Demon's Souls remake, especially since they *didn't* re-add the cut giant's archstone, read: the only angle where a remake would have some purpose).

@Indigo @zemichi @coolboymew Yeah. All I can say when it comes to PlayStation is "not my monkeys, not my circus". If and when anything happens on PC, then maybe we'll talk, although most nu-Sony properties are compromised so far beyond repair that it's fundamentally pointless to engage with them.

@zoon it already is going that way. Sony is branching to PC because their AAA games never made money. AAA games times are ticking in general

@coolboymew @zoon I'd be happy if Sony ported over the PS4 remake of MediEvil That's about the only game on Sony's catalogue I got any interst in and I can't justify paying $200 for it, and maybe the M2 port of DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou but there's rumors that will get a switch port as well.

@ooignignoktoo @zoon as I said in the past, Fromsoft and lower budget stuff like this probably won't make it as there's bigger chances they made their money back on these, so they'll keep them as the few exclusives they have. Meanwhile the AAA games who doesn't make a return usually will go to PC

@coolboymew @zoon Yeah sadly it will never happen. Maybe when PS4 emualtion gets better I can play it then but with how awful the last of us port was I don't think I would want to buy any newer Sony titles on PC. You got people on social media and youtube screaming about how 8GB of vram is no longer enough when most of the fault is game devs being lazy and using unoptimized bloated pajeet code.
