       Passing thought as I was writing out a domain name by hand:Top-level domains were a mistake—a poor attempt at organizing groups into categories that doesn't (and probably didn't at the time) add any real information to a domain name.Did it really matter that NASA had a .gov domain name or that MIT had a .edu? Or could we have all been fine accessing their sites by just typing in their names as fully-qualified domain names? 1/?
