       Who uses @snikket_im ? Would this be  an option to replace @signalapp ? Once they drop the protocol every single cellular network uses, I don't think I will be using it.

       @sikkdays Whether Snikket is a good replacement for Signal depends on your use case for it. Snikket accounts aren't linked to phone numbers, which has advantages for some (privacy) and disadvantages for others (discoverability).Our primary focus is on easy onboarding of small groups of users - particularly families, clubs and other social organizations. But this isn't the only way people use it - single-user instances are pretty common, when people just want a simple way to self-host XMPP.
