       Another great thing of I2p is they have a i2pd so you do not have to run the bloated java client, is perfect for unix hackers that hate java, also you can run servers of any kind, people run private invite only IRC servers etc. I personally been using i2p for more than 10 years now.

       @rtp_tips Masodon-devs (or the whole fediverse) should discuss a reader-added-tags feature.Even if I add tags to the stuff I&#39;m &quot;quoting&quot; into the nets, someone else may have some important tags to add.OTOH this is not a wiki.Maybe thinking too much about such things is just feeding entropy.Maybe that just points at how #nntp-2.0 should look like...  ;-D

       @rtp_tips  Social nets are worse than Usenet was because of too few groups/categories.  Tags could work like newsgroups if people switch to following tags instead of people.  Who is so near to me that I would want to read every burps of them?  Following people only fits the use case of stalking them, instead of getting the topics I am interested in.  Ok... following single topic bots would make sense, but they just could tag their messages too.TL:DR: We need more # and less @.

       @rtp_tips  Let&#39;s spread that a bit, byte or even int128_t.A big part of this is opening others&#39; eyes why tags are useful.  Add-ons to #Mastodon are harder to get.There is a hook that can give a more news like view in a tag oriented way:  Try https://emacs.ch/tags/forth.rss e.g. with GNUS (playing RSS reader).I&#39;ve not done much with #RSS but maybe that even would be a path to gate Mastodon over to #nntp.#TagYEAH!
