       Got a pixel 7 to see how the dark side progressed over time.1. It's gotten much nicer GUI wise!2. Many apps are pretty decent3. There are a few features that are nice like work profiels & multi-user which apple should adopt.4. Still, after all this time, some things strangely don't work great.  Like compressing a 151MB 60s screen recording from the OS is not built in and you need to use strange janky screen compressor apps that take forever. iOS is built in and very fast.

       The video compression thing is strange as fuck too, since I imagine there is a native video compression API that could do it quickly vs the CPU thing I'm imagining these apps are doing.Another thing is how when I try to install a 15MB app from the google store, it's stuck in a pending state for a long time, and other times it's very fast.Lets see what other jank items I uncover as I poke around the phone.

       And now I got a $350 trade in refund for the broken screen 6 year old iphone I had 😂 .  Google really wants to boost their numbers.I haven't used it as much once I got over the novelty.  I think it's me waiting for my google store credit to come in so I can get a free case essentially.   But there are a bunch of use cases that I can only use on android that I'm finding attractive, like VPN forcing.  Also VPN works way better on it than my iPhone.
