       its frustrating TLA being this huge deal in animation which should be important to me but it just.... slides off me. oil and water not sure why.What must one do to being to appreciate TLA?

       @Rasp It's one of those things where you need to be in the right headspace for it, and that's a thing that may or may not ever happen, and the more removed you get from being the target audience, the less likely that gets.What worked for me at least was watching it with someone who was already a super fan but respected me enough to keep quiet while we watched. We kind of amplified each others' experience.

       @Rasp Dunno what to tell you. The bit where Aang gets home and looks for his people only to find skulls where the fire nation enacted a genocide... Just kinda powerful. Suppose take Sokka with a grain of salt, his character arc is very important, invite Oppa into your heart, that Bison deserves everything, and see it like a kid watching people with cool powers. I love air bending, loved air based powers. What kinda bendsr would you like to be?
