@mdstevens0612 eh about that but 7 is pretty mid TBH and from what I've heard its def got some jank and repeated assets to it.

@Rasp I... I mean yeah, there's lots of pop in and the cyberspace levels only have like four themes but a 7 is mid? Like... I dunno, what kinda game is a 7 to you, because mid has to be like... close to halfway, not at the 75% mark? Some of my favourite games are 7s I dunno.

@Rasp Okay but it like doesn't? Metacritic averages it at 72% based on 50 odd reviews. I mean you don't have to like the game but I dunno what to tell you here. Very few reviews score less than 6.

@Rasp Ah, I think I get what you mean now. I would personally say there are definitely games that are 5s which work perfectly as intended. Much more broken games score higher, Bethesda's made a career out of it. But okay. I see where you're coming from.

@Rasp That's fine. To me a 7 is most of the way there. Fun but flawed. Six months of polish away from an 8, you know? Like a 6 is a real mixed bag. Not a failing grade but you know, not exactly prestige performance.

@Rasp Even me. The game could be a 2 out of 10 and I'd eventually play it just to keep up the streak of having played (almost) every Sonic game.

@Rasp Fair enough. There probably doesn't exist a perfect game but a 10 to me is like... Something I deeply connect with? Celeste and Hollow Knight are to me probably as close to 10s as it'll get. Maybe also Her Story which is a game I would give my lungs to play for the first time again. I tend not to take umbridge that much with industry reviews unless the reviewer is really half-assing it? Really depends who is writing.
