       The join #Mastodon website's #UX is on-point, IMO.Developers might be most interested in tech details (e.g. #federation, #selfhosting)But the average user cares more about the practical: the mobile app, and what servers they can join (the covenant is great too).Plus, instead of the blurb talking about #ActivityPub or #OSS, it focuses more on what the average user cares about: de-commercialising social media, no ads, etc.Plus, cute elephants! This #design is very inspirational.

       I do realise the blurb doesn't talk about ads, but I suspect one can convince a lot of users on that basis :P
