@frumble I just feel so cynical reading this:KataOS is intended for use with the ever-growing number of smart devices with a particular emphasis on embedded hardware running machine learning applications.This to me sounds like this is supposed to be an OS for botnets

@meena @frumble Tbh, while I hate google they're pretty good at security. Obviusly you get near 0 privacy and if you intend to protect yourself from the goverment good luck.

@meena @frumble Don't know about the particual security model of that OS, but things like #grapheneos exist. And it's the most secure smartphones that you can get.

@meena @frumble You can have security without privacy, but you cannot have privacy without security to protect that privacy.Google is ahead of the game in security, even if not the best for privacy.
