@graf @Jim I've seen you say this a few times and I'm sorry but that seems like an oversimplification that scapegoats KF users as "doxers" and "causing trouble" when a lot of the problems came from both sides. Most (or at least a lot of) KF users don't give a shit about doxing and they just want a place where they can shitpost, nothing more. Sure there might be a few that see it as important or who are just using it as an excuse to start shit, but the great majority do not care if it's a rule (me personally it was never the reason with I joined KF), so labeling all of us as being unable to handle a no doxing rule is not really fair. Besides, some of the problem from what I saw was KF users hitting back when "oldfags" started slinging shit at new users and not being able to take what they dished out, running immediately to the admins to cry about their community being destroyed. The other (big) part of it (again from what I saw) was the loli content where most of the existing userbase was pro and most of KF against and it has caused genuine friction between the two. I'm sure there's been a number of KF users that have caused trouble with the doxing shit, and if I missed it and that's been the biggest problem, then I apologize, but I've seen at least one example of someone being banned (not by you AFAIK) under the "doxing" rule when it was about something else entirely. I think most of us enjoy poast, I saw you say that we would all leave once the KF node was back up, but I doubt that's the case if people actually enjoy being here. If you don't want us then that's a different story, but this whole "KF users cannot refrain from doxing" seems silly to me.

Josh was really comfortable with the huge influx of users the forums got since COVID. They were fast and loose with the rules, many that were very active in gay ops got into mod in positions, and others who didn't do it but were ok with it got into other mod positions. I think Josh saw this influx of newfags from his streams and being more mainstream as a beer positive for the forum health and world indicators but instead they were a huge liability. Most were cool with doxing and touching the poop since that was the reputation KF had. When KF went down all, old and new alike were looking for a new home. Oldfags just want a place to resume community and are fine observing rules and don't shit where we eat. There's too few good places left on the Internet. Newfags came here specifically to shitpost, gay ops, beg for attention, say the gamer words, and in general just shit where we all eat, fedposting included. Josh refused to draw the lines in the sand when we begged and now he's in the position he's in. Please don't make that mistake.
