I prefer Linux's native SSH client for the same reason I prefer vim - I feel cool using it.

@josh i use "Terminal" in windows app store but I have it configured for WSL2 so it just opens a new tab every time i want to connect to something new

@josh I just use cmder. Its always been highly reliable for me. I haven't tried tmux with it but it should work.

@josh since no one else has mentioned it, when forced to use Windows I usually install Cygwin. You can install openssh as a package and then ssh through that, with the added bonus that you have a full bash environment inside Windows on the side.
