       sorta surprising to me that skyrim has worked flawlessly on linux for like 5 years and nobody has written a native mod manager for it

       @neon I set that up today, relatively pleasant.Still, somethig that could, say, understand symlinks and do reflink copies would be really nice

       @izaya Definitely, Linux is much better for modding. I wrote a script to mount mods over the skyrim directory with overlayfs before using MO2, and it was very nice, except for having to read through mod installer configs to figure out which files to keep.

       @neon I did something similar with Fallout4 at one point. Unfortunately the performance was ... lacking.
