I think that the more extreme aspectratios are uncomfortable to look at. Something like 8:5 (or as a gamerfag would say, 16:10) or 3:2 is ideal.        @ducky @alex @splitshockvirus I think that it would be wasteful to have two screens just to not have black bars. Do you ever actually use them simultaneously, weebbro? For me a tiling WM and a workspaces feature is enough.

       @loliphile Cringe take tbh and not newspaper pilledTake a widescreen monitor, split it horizontally with either a tiling window manager or a terminal multiplexer like tmux and you basically can make miniature ~4:3 ~3:2 windows.Additionally like that soy cuck @alex said the Web® is meant to be scrolled, not only that but IDEs as well as terminals use more vertical space than horizontal space.

But anyway my monitor is large so I would have to pitch my head up and down to see the ends, which is more annoying than having to yaw it. Also it is high-resolution, so “muh scrolling” is not as much of an issue. Besides sometimes I play muh games, and of course all of them are designed for a horizontal screen.
