the browser police are at it again. besides operating systems, browsers seem to be one of the most debated items. If you feel like you use the best, please, do argue. But there doesn't seem to be a perfect solution (yet)

@pyre35 Well if you don't care about being tracked and want to support a company that has a CEO that is actively anti LGBT+ that's on you. I for one means that all humans should have the same rights.. And I'm not going to willfully aid them not getting the chance to.

@sotolf I guarantee if you go back far enough with any of the current CEOs of browsing companies you will find extremely similar activity. I'm not excusing it, don't hear that. I guarantee there are things they haven't apologized for so I'm not giving that pass either

@pyre35 I'd also never use a browser that rewrites the urls when I type them in... But you know my arguments as you said.But seriously, show me any other Browser CEOs with documentation that has this and I'll speak out against them again, and I want documentation, not vague claims which is all you do here, that you don't want privacy doesn't mean that it's right of a company to lie about how they are focused on "privacy"

@papertape "normally" a good thing to have options I would say. tends to force innovation as well. Again, its just about silly arguments in my mind. I have yet to see a perfect browser yet there is no end to ppl claiming you must use their favorite and all others are terrible. For what reason??

@pyre35 but, creating anger and arguments results in magical internet points on niche social networks.It is the same everywhere: best distro, best text editor, best IDE, best search engine.The argument I see a lot is best alternative ROM for Android. If I were to say that GrapheneOS is trash, just an example, never used it because I don't have a Pixel, I would get some replies.
