If Apple Studio monitor would at least offer high refresh rate I’d buy it but it doesn’t so paying $2000 seems too excessive to me so I will skip it:

@CSB Historically the Apple monitors lose their gamma settings and float faster than competitors. This is c/o testing with pro colorimeters that used to be done at THX while I was working there. After a few years it can be hard to keep them working at all, since the capacitors + in the G3+G4 days, the flyback transformers... anyway the parts are the cheapest parts possible for inclusion in a working product.If u spend a lot on a monitor, consider looking at colorimetry tests after 1-2 yrs.

@CSB apple used to be superior hardware, not anymore. I would look at what model of EIZO you can get with what you want to budget.
