@mike i should really try to do that more. A friend in work has “no tech Sundays” and says it works well.That might be a bit much for me, but i occasional l detox would be good.

@mike A couple of years ago, I think that I didn't make it beyond a job interview because I said that I liked to get away from the computer most evenings... Now that I'm not doing IT type work, it's about the only time that I DO get on one...

@randynose I haven't been on a computer since Friday. My son wants me to play a video game with him now. I want to join him, but I don't want to turn on the computer. It's been so nice to disconnect.

@kev @mike Before even seeing this, I had a nearly successful "no tech Sunday" yesterday. Spent a lot of time outside taking pictures of birds (one of my favorite pastimes) and chilling with my family. Best day in a while!

@_failsafe I'm going to try to make it all week. I don't know when the last time was that I hadn't used a computer for that long. It's probably been literal decades. Quite possibly since the 90s. Of course, I'm kind of cheating by using my phone. I'm still able to do most "computer" tasks this way. Just very little of the baggage.@kev

@skeeter It's more since I work from home full time, there's been a lot of blurring if lines between computer job and computer fun. Too much. My phone doesn't have that mental stigma, at least for the moment. I have some work apps on my phone, but I'm seriously thinking of removing them just to reinforce that line. @randynose
